As the housing crisis continues, there is growing pressure on land in urban areas to provide housing, leading to a change in the character of some areas. Where new residents move into areas which contain existing noise-generating uses, the risk of noise complaints restricting their operations can be a particular concern to existing occupiers, we look at the legal implications.
